13 fps. But then again dx11 provides the same result, but with better fps Wink

No ... Anti-Aliasing (MSAA) of Direct3D11 is less demanding than AA (SSAA) of Direct3D9 . Try Super Mario Galaxy or Xenoblade with Direct3D9 backend : 4xIR , 9x SSAA , 16x AF and see what will happen . I bet you will get bad result

13 fps in exeno with those settings you said. But then again dx11 provides the same result, but with better fps Wink

You shouldn't claim you could max out the graphic unless you run demanding games full speed with 4xIR + 9xSSAA
SSAA is more effective than MSAA , 4xSSAA doubles the resolution in both directions . You couldn't tell the difference because you have monitor bottleneck (require 4k res monitor or higher for that insane resolution)

It does not provide the same result. You just didn't notice the difference because you don't have a trained eye. Just like how most people don't notice aliasing at all unless you point it out to them.

I disagree with admin89 in that the difference should be noticeable even at 1920 x 1080 if you know what to look for.

Well, i clearly saw a difference indeed, and i have been an graphic enthusiast all since gtx 400 series came out. So i clearly saw the difference, but then again, ofourse an 1080p screen would still show the same quality cause both dx versions maxed out at 4x res cannot be seen very good on an regular 1080p screen.

I just hinted to that for a 1080p screen, the dx11 version almost showed as good as resolution as the dx9 maxed out, but also gave much more fps.

but to show the real gr4aphic difference, a 4k res screen must be used.

Yeah, it can't handle dolphin, but the other guy's can. You have a £150 GPU, he has a £450 GPU. It's logical to expect his to be better.
OS: Windows 10 64 bit Professional

Try to have the graphics in dx11 than dx9 and just try to play with the settings untill you've got the suitable fps of your likings Smile

Btw, what cpu do you got? Cause both the setting "use multicore" and the brand of the cpu also has alot to do with the fps.

And btw, i agree with "Anyoldname"

Your gpu is from the cheap model which doesnt really do any good with theese emu's.

I have buildt my pc to be able to max out any of today's games, and one more 680 is on the list for future games.

So since i got theese specs, i can change the settings in dx11 engine on dolphin to as high as i desire.

And also the cpu has a big part of this too.
