oliverfrancisco: Surely you have a few dollars saved up to buy a somewhat better PC? You're never going to enjoy Dolphin properly with that PC, it's just really really really bad.

To avoid confusion, you should also note in your "guide" that you're not able to run any games at full speed with that machine and no amount of setting changes or old build usage is going to change that fact. Basically, it's hopeless.

Pros and Cons to buying a better PC:

Pros:

1) You will be able to run games at full speed and use HD resolutions (depending on the hardware and the game).
2) You will be able to use the latest builds with new features and game fixes.
3) You will no longer have to create threads like this and scrape the bottom of the bucket in game speed.
4) Using a much better PC will make all of your computing better, faster and much more enjoyable.

Cons:

1) You have to have some money.
Asus Laptop: K53TA
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium, 64-Bit - SP1
CPU: AMD Llano A6-3400M, Quad-Core, 1.4GHz-2.6GHz (Overclocked)
GPU: AMD Radeon HD6650M, 1GB GDDR3 (Catalyst 13.1)
RAM: Samsung 4GB DDR3-1333

Maybe I can´t run them at full speed with my specs, but at least I can try some of them while looking for a better PC, don´t you think?

Also, note that if enabling XFB emulation speeds up stuff for you, you're doing something REALLY wrong.
What do you mean by "wrong" in this case?

Before continuing the second part of the "unofficial guide", I have to say that yeah, I know my budget is bad for some poeple here; but precisely with that system I play those games I mentioned before (maybe not at full speed, but at least reasonable ones). Confused Also, I created the thread trying to help other new users in the forum and those who are first playing in Dolphin, not to have them criticizing my specs. (Again, I totally ADMIT that they´re totally awful for the emulator; but that´s what I can handle for now until I find a better PC.)

That was a mistake I made, man. It only makes the emulation a bit "stable" in my system when selected in virtual mode.

Only if you have a terrible GPU and a good CPU.

there isn't real settings out there guys, just keep everything default or you do it alot worse than before,
turning off EFB , turning on frameskipping or playing at low resolution is already complet fail.
Where is the point playing at low resolution with a low-level pc? Just buy the wii, its alot cheaper....

short and easy if you got a job : buy a great computer which can handle dolphin good @ max resolution.
