im configuring the gamepad for dolphin, what do the 'modifier' and treshold values indicate?

i want faster horizontal movement (keyboard input), which settings do i change?

The modifier cuts down the movement of the analog stick in half so that you can somewhat emulate both walking and running.

The threshold indicates how far the virtual analog input moves when you move a joystick; it isn't very useful for keyboard use, but you can try it out.
Desktop:
OS: Windows 7 64 bit
CPU: Intel Core i5 3570K @ 4.4 GHz
GPU: EVGA NVIDIA GeForce GTX 550 Ti (Factory OC'ed)
RAM: 16 GB @ 1600 MHz
Dolphin Revision:3.0, 3.0-784, 3.5, latest 3.5

i didnt notice any difference when pressing the modifier key.

the 'main stick' keys are used to look around, can the sensitivity of the key input be changed?

That is essentially what threshold does, but I don't honk it will work for what you want I to do. It already moves the joystick all the way so you Canaletto it much faster in general.

I followed your travails and was able to set mine up. Took me an hour of thinking then 5 minutes after reading yours.
