I recently got the Mayflash gamecube adapter, I plugged it in my computer and in the devices and printers it works perfectly, all the button inputs are registered. But when I go to Dolphin emulator and click on "GCPad" my whole computer starts lagging and dolphin recognizes "USB GamePad" but it doesnt recognize any buttons, anyone got any suggestions?

did you try actually configuring the buttons?

Also make sure you have the controller plugged into the proper side of the Mayflash. I use one as well, so i know it works.

Yes, it works for like 5 seconds, and then it starts lagging, after the 5 seconds, when I start a game up, my audio starts lagging and my button inputs dont work anymore

It sounds like your controller is disconnecting or something; likely a problem with your hardware rather than dolphin. You could try installing the mayflash drivers or using xinput/dinput instead.

It works when I disconnect and reconnect the mayflash usb cable while my game is running, apparantly.
