Yep, that's definitely the best solution. I've installed Win7 through Bootcamp on my Macbook Pro and Dolphin runs fast and without any problems. OS X is not made for gaming...
Dolphin for Mac constantly crashes

Sadly that's true. I'd be installing Windows 7 immediately if I had a iMac and wanted to play games.

Well, actually, the Dolphin devs just need a Mac and they can improve the OS X version of Dolphin. But... a good Mac is quite expensive. (I payed about 2000€)

Yeah the prices on those things are sick to say at least. To me iMacs are like nice furniture pieces. Handy and doesn't take much room or space.

It's most likely only illegal here in the US (because our laws are great, you know :p), as it violates the DMCA. Everyone else though should be fine unless they too have something similar to the DMCA. Apple doesn't really care atm, not enough to sue individual ordinary people.
Anyway, Hackintosh computers might be useful in diagnosing some of issues with Dolphin and OS X, perhaps with crashing issues like this. Others, like the well-known lighting problems, seem to be hardware and driver related, so devs would likely need one of the GPUs found in Macs reporting those issues. For development, Hackintosh rigs would help, but they're still not as ideal as having a real Mac.
Yep, Hackintosh =!= real Mac
That's why I bought a Mac. 11-12-2012, 03:46 AM
As long as it's a desktop hackintosh, hackintosh > real mac.
