I really really really want dolphin on for ios please i dont care how slow it is as long as its not below 20 fps but if its going to be slow the best thing you can do is remove the far graphics in far places or you could do this example (no crowd in punch out) (mario galaxy cant see far away). i have ipad air 2 so it should go full speed since the few games i have do go full speed the highest nintendo game i can get is ds and the top graphics emulator i can get is psp psp has bad games and nintendo has bad graphics and a bit bad gameplay

I'm using latest mid-high end i5 4300M @ 3.2GHz , most games don't run well ...Your processor : Apple A8X isn't as fast as a 5 years old low end Core 2 duo @ 2.0GHz
Laptop: (Show Spoiler)

Hahahaha is this guy serious?

You know, I've seen some pretty damn selfish posts/demands on this board, but this just takes the cake.
Craptop specs: W7 Pro x64 | Arctic Silver 5 woo! | i7 4700MQ @ ~3.5GHz | GT 740M 2GB @ 1183/1080MHz | 12GB DDR3 1600Mhz | 1366x768 screen lololol

Hey guys, no need to be rude. The OP simply doesn't understand emulation or hardware requirements. Explain to the OP what's wrong about their assumptions and why their expectations are unrealistic. Sure it makes you chuckle whenever someone comes along with seemingly outlandish ideas, but the remedy is to educate them, not ridicule them. I'll be dropping warnings for any posts that aren't towards that intent in this thread, so play nice okay?

@Zakusaa - Unfortunately, that hardware isn't going to be fast enough to run Dolphin at the speeds you'd enjoy (assuming you could get it working on iOS, there is no working port atm as far as I know). Dolphin requires a lot of single threaded performance from the CPU, and that's just not something many tablets have. Only a very few select mobile CPUs can run the Android version of Dolphin at notable decent speeds in most games (the Tegra I believe? And am I missing anything else?) But your iPad is not a good candidate when talking about performance.

The IPad Air 2 CPU is in fact one of the fastest mobile CPUs, a bit faster than Tegra iirc. But the GPU drivers are much worse. And even worse for us, the IOS app store doesn't allow self-modifing code, so no JIT would be possible. That's why nobody did start to port dolphin to IOS.

But your assumption is still off by a lot. Suprt Mario galaxy is a quite hard game. Through it's fine on a desktop for quite a while, on laptops only the fastest intel haswell CPUs are able to emulate it fullspeed. So neither Tegra nor any other mobile CPU is able to play it enjoyable. Very likely less than 20 fps...
