The advantage of the android device (Tablets and Smartphones) is the mobility. run Dolphin on Shield Tv doesn't make sense, much less compare performance with Smartphones.
Instead of wasting time with Shield TV is more advantageous to buy or build a compact PC.

But the Shield TV is the best device to hack/debug/devel the ARM JIT right now. But expections are quite a lot different here. 03-12-2017, 10:57 PM
Can someone fix vulkan api on Mali g71 device? It supports vulkan api, but emu is crushing when I select vulkan in options. Please fix it. It's very powerful gpu and I think it can handle many games on full speed on vulkan. It runs at almost full speed in many games on opengl.

To anyone wondering, I've been testing with the Google Pixel and it performs really well so far. I've been playing Custom Robo and it's fluid during gameplay, with only some slow downs during intense overworld stuff.
Edit: OpenGL works great, Vulkan has massive glitches with the same settings. I wonder why? 04-09-2017, 12:12 AM
Do you guys know if Dolphin can run on a Kindle Fire 7 5th Generation? I keep trying to install the .apk but it keeps telling me that the app was not installed. I have plenty of room on my device.
Specs of Kindle Fire 7 (2015) 5th Generation: OS: Fire OS 5 - Same as Android 5 Lollipop - Version 5.3.2.1 CPU: MediaTek - Quad-Core 4x ARM Cortex-A7 at 1.3 Ghz Model number MT827D GPU: ARM Holdings 600 Mhz Model Number - Mali RAM: 1GB Actually after reviewing this stuff, it might be my processor. Since on this site it says that there is no 64-bit support! https://www.notebookcheck.net/Mediatek-M...974.0.html Any confirmation on this? I hope I am not right. 04-09-2017, 08:20 AM
Oh darn! So there is no 32-bit version that I could try? If there is I bet it is so old that it wouldn't run well anyhow.

Just out of curiosity, what would be the best tablet or android device to run Dolphin on? Probably not an option because of the price. |
