Nope. No mobile device is powerful enough to run dolphin well.

More important: Which GPU driver version do you have? Does it support OpenGL ES 3.2? (often packed with the Nougat update)

Assuming it ships a 64 bit OS, yes.

Assuming OpenGL 3.2 works on a Galaxy S7 Edge, Exynos Version, on the PPSSPP emulator, why doesn't it work on Dolphin. Also, Vulkan seems to be broken as well Sad
I've seen on the ARM forums that it's not a driver issue, but rather a problem on the Dolphin code. Is that correct?

PPSSPP requires a very low GLES version and then cherry picks the extensions it needs. Dolphin doesn't work that way.

As for Vulkan being broken, it's a known issue, but I don't know what the status is on it. I don't think it's actively being looked at because of driver bugs. Dunno where you read that ARM devs said it's not their fault, but I'd be interested in seeing that. Maybe they also point out what we're doing wrong in our backend.

We also work in this way, but the very low GLES version we require is GL ES 3.0. We are talking about a GL version supported on the desktop in 2009. It was adapted to the mobile spezification in 2012.

oh whoops, for some reason I thought we required a fairly recent GLES.

It is fairly recent, at least there are many mobiles which don't support it, or don't support it well.

This is where I've seen it - ARM Forum -. I'm not a developer of any kind, just a curious guy  Big Grin , so pardon me if i'm wrong.

My Galaxy S7 G930U with Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 kind of works on Mario Kart Double Dash (first game I'very tested so far). The lighting is really dark and the sound is skippy when rendering 3D. Just fine in 2D menus. The actual speed of the game is very acceptable. What makes it unplayable is the video looKS trying to drive in twilight.

Thanks everyone for their hard work. Any helpful insight and thoughts about my device and the future of the code would be most appreciated
