Hi there, Shield TV owner here.

I tried running the latest alpha, and had a few issues (as expected)

1) the in game settings/menu/screenshot etc menu, does not seem to work (except for the screenshots) so I'm unable to set a setting profile for just one game
2) Is the alpha version in the play store the latest (same as here?) the one here seems to support the Leanback launcher (for ATV) the one in the play store doesn't
is it possible to make the play store version support leanback?

3) Does the alpha currently support texture packs? I have not been able to find any details about this.
4) I've tried MGS Twin snakes, and all it shows is the disc 2, not disc 1. when I try to run disc 2 it stops at the konami logo.

thank you.

Do not use the play store version. It is not the same as the latest dev builds.

3) Custom textures are supported just like in the desktop versions. You will need to manually edit the graphics .ini to enable them. Change Load Hi Res Textures from False to true, and Convert Textures from False to True. Look at the desktop .ini files and copy/paste.

4) Here is a compatibility list http://www.freeemulator.com/nvidia-shield-android-tv-emulator-compatibility-list-and-requests/
MGS Twin snakes does not currently work afaik

All of the auto builds have gone missing,WTF?

Last time I checked, one new build from ---8 to ---9 was built, now the list is empty.
There's five whole days before the New Year 2016 arrives, why is everything already gone?
Just concerned about this and didn't want to clutter with another new thread.

Sure hope the team hasn't given up on compiling them, perhaps one could file a bug report?  I'd love to try them on my K1 tablet, but if this is the case...

Our entire infrastructure was effected by a change that was recently done to it.
Caused buildbots to break among other things. All the buildbots were down, not just the Android one.

Buildbot page is messed up,a 502 Bad Gateway this time.

When will the revert of the shadergen static commit be done so users can safely grab a newer build once the site is back in working order?
I had to deal with a nightmare on newer builds due to that one commit causing "sigsevs" seen in the issues list and I had it freeze my Shield TV Pro twice (hard drive=risky business) before finding out, forcing me to unplug it as a result both times.
I hope this didn't/doesn't end up bricking unlocked/rooted users.

Aha, that explains what happened for me as well(had to unplug it 2 times yesterday).
I was worried that my hard drive was causing the issues (early editions of the Shield pro apparently had some problems with the hard drive).

Hope this can be resolved soon.

Build 54 works great.

I noticed a strange issue,if I enable the per-pixel lighting,I get a large speed boost compared to disabling it and running sluggish,I think the scalin bugged out when disabling it because it seemed to be at higher resolution despite me having it at 1x IR.

Well,at least enabling that enhancement makes it faster.
It happens on both EFB modes, sluggishly slower on texture when less slow on cached RAM.

Interesting, I will try the new build later today to see how it behaves for me.
