I downloaded the latest android version of dolphin from the download page and tried to test it with a game, however it didn't worked, someone pointed out in this forum that I should edit the ini files on the dolphin folder, however the folder is nowhere to be found.
Before I posted this I also noticed that I don't have the ability to save my settings in the app because the emulator itself doesn't detect the folder (screenshot attached), I also tried to search if someone had this same issue on the forum but I couldn't find anything.
Thanks in advance for helping me solve my issue.

Close the app down completely and reopen it, a couple videos I have seen show that. The interface then will look different and you can change core settings and such. Once you can do this ypur ini file will be there.

I've actually run into that problem like a year ago. I have no idea what causes it or how to reproduce it.

Then I might as well give you some insight on my phone conditions, my phone is a Huawei p9 lite and has emui 4.1 installed.
The first time I installed dolphin all worked right and I had a dolphin folder, however I do remember to have deleted the app via the phone included storage manager and not by deleting the app itself. The next time i installed it the error appeared.
Maybe the manager delete process left some file out of the dolphin folder? And maybe the app is detecting that same file as installed and implying that the folder is still there?

This problem is due to having Andriod 7.0 and higher the folder does not auto create. So the only way around this issue is to create the appropriate folders manually.

Nope, I have Android 6.0
However, I think that is the best solution indeed, do you have a copy of the appropriate folders available online?
