Hey guys, i was wondering about this earlier... what would be needed to make the dolphin experience complete.... I believe the following are required:

-a homebrew system menu which allows users to pick which game from the dolphin list they wish to play

-a piece of hardware, in the form of a 'sync button', which triggers the 'pair wiiremote' button in dolphin.
-additionally to this, the 'pair wiiremote' button should be intelligen: instead of a 'pair wiiremote' on each controller page (1-4) there should be a single 'pair wiiremote' button on the generate page- when clicked, it populates the new wii remote into the next free slot. This function should be called when the user presses the physical sync button mentioned in my previous point.

-Ability for games to automatically use the wiki information to configure dolphin for best config.

cannot think of anymore right now, but these features would make it a completly hands free replacement to the wii console Smile

3) It basically does that already in 3.0

4) Theoretically the game .ini configs should have the best settings based on the wiki anyway

if version 3.0 already does what i mentioned, then there should only be a single pair button, and where you select 'use real wii remote', a list should be given of paired remotes to pick from.

one last thing, your signature was wrong about my browser! lol

I need to oppose you, the wiki settings are for getting the best compatibility (not performance), and the settings entries aren't regular values...
Avell A70 MOB: Core i7-11800H, GeForce RTX 3060, 16 GB DDR4-3200, Windows 11 (Insider Preview)
ASRock Z97M OC Formula: Pentium G3258, GeForce GT 440, 16 GB DDR3-1600, Windows 10 (22H2)

Yes, I always check there for reference. But you see, I'm an old time Dolphin user, so I'm used to open the configuration windows and click everything for each game every time I want to play or something like that. I know it's supposed to be more practical like that, but I like to play around with the configurations for each game and see what's best for me. So it annoys me when the game just "remembers" a different configuration all the time. But that's not a problem, I just delete everything related to graphics on the .ini file and set whatever I feel necessary. But that's just me, you know, opinions... and all that.
