No matter what I seem to try my game always crashes and I have been unable so solve this by myself. The major thing is the crash is UN-predictable and I have found no way to stop it. Please if any one can help please do.

Windows Version: Microsoft Windows 8 (build 9200), 64-bit

Processor: Intel® Core™ i7-4770 CPU @ 3.40GHz

Graphics Card: GeForce GT 625

Total RAM: 15.9 GB

Dolphin: 4.0.2

Thanks to all that try to help me out and I hope this thread will in turn help others with this same problem!

1-What does the crash says in detail?

2- Probably a VC++ missing DLL/ outdated VC++. Try reinstalling/updating (latest: VC++ 2013).

3- Probably a missing DirectX DLL. Try updating.

1. "Dolphin.exe has stopped working
A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available."

2. Im not sure how to do that but this is a new computer and I imagine would be up to date

3. I also assume this must be up to date sense I believe I am running 11 and often play games

Just search "visual c++ redistributable 2013" and get it from the microsoft webpage; the X64 version specifically.

Alright I installed that one. Does it automatically remove the old version? And I will keep playing games in a bit to see if it solved my problem!

No, it just gets installed along with the older ones you have.

Some things to try
1) Update drivers, Windows updates, DirectX Web installer (may be missing some parts). Like DJBarry said, you might be missing some stuff. New prebuilt computers are sometimes (read as usually) missing something

2) Make sure under Power Management in Windows you're running in High Performance. Also set your GPU to run at high performance: https://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-un...ance+guide

3) Use the OpenGL backend on one of the latest dev builds, as it is faster than D3D. The current dev build is 4.0-780

You might also want to look at upgrading to Windows 8.1
