Try these:
1) Update drivers, Windows updates, DirectX Web installer (may be missing some parts), and latest version of Visual C++ 2) Make sure under Power Management in Windows you're running in High Performance, and are plugged in to power. Also set a high performance profile under Nvidia Control Center 3) Use the OpenGL backend on one of the latest dev builds, as it is faster than D3D. The current dev build is 4.0-771 02-02-2014, 08:14 AM

Because Core 2 Duo (or Core 2 Quad) CPUs are very old, and by this condition they mean slowness in actual Dolphin builds. Happy to see that you aren´t getting more crashes.
Rig 1: Windows 10 Home | AMD A6-1450 @ 600/1000/1400 MHz | AMD Radeon HD Graphics 8250 | 4GB RAM | HP Pavilion TouchSmart 11.
Rig 2: Windows 10 Pro | Intel Core i7-2640M @ 780/2800/3500 MHz | Intel HD 3000 Mobile | 8GB RAM | Dell Latitude 6320.
