Just wondering what's the difference between the normal Dolphin 3.0 and Dolphin 3.0-184 dirty. Is it updated or does it better run the games? Just wondering if someone, perferable the creators could answer this.

3.0 is a decently stable release without any obvious issues. Stable releases needed to be made while the project was using SVN because at any time an unstable commit could be made in an attempt to improve the emulator, but a lot of times the outcome was unknown. As people compile each and every revision no matter if the change was good or bad, it caused issues, so it was best to release an official stable release so that users could use that and not have to worry about issues in the latest builds that were not really meant to be used by the public. Now that the project has switched to git, technically any commit made to master is "supposed" to be stable since any commit made to master is supposed to be well tested and free from obvious bugs.
I'm sure that makes no sense to you, but that's how and why things are how they are.

Works fine with me though, it actually crashes less on Twin Snakes. Not sure about Four Swords Adventure though.

FSA should run fine on both. Didn't crash for me in my plays. I would stick to 3.0, as the newer builds either fix or break something.

I'm using 3.0, but the game freezes when I try to go to the other area when you cross the first lake after you get the fire rod.
Also, anyone know a way to stop Metal Gear Solid Twin Snakes from stopping the audio during Codec and cutscenes? And sometimes when I fire the FAMAS the shooting audio loops infinitly. Not less than 3.0, it's called 3.0-184 Dirty, it's the latest release I think, http://www.dolphin-emu.org/download.html Latest is 3.0-187 at the time I post this. 10-25-2011, 10:56 PM

Actually by "less than 3.0" I was asking you if you compared number of crashes that you obtained with 3.0-184 to number of crashes that you obtained with 3.0
