Macs are bad for games because you're going to be spending too much money for what you get. If you have infinite money or need the mac for something else, I guess, but otherwise that should never be bought for mainly a gaming computer.
What about a Windows 7 Pro 64 bit would that reach the mininium requirement in order to run the Emulator faster?

I wouldn't buy anything less than a high speed phenom II x4 processor or the new sandy bridges at this point. This emulator cares too much about the processor to go lower though with regular pc games you could get away with a weaker processor where the graphics card would make up for it. Yes that OS is what you want but...is like, nearly the least important thing about the computer. If you have to BUY the computer instead of BUILD it, assuming you're in the US I wouldn't go for less than a 700-800$ system. If you can build it or get it built by someone you know, you could save some money. I'm ok, but there are much better places to learn how to build if you need to learn that.
Operating system means almost nothing though... 07-20-2011, 05:23 PM
Would any of the Windows Edition computers be powerful enough to run Dolphin?
