If I buy a GameCube game off from eBay, will I be able to run it smooth and without any trouble?

Those specs should run a bunch of games at great speed! Especially since the i7-4790 should turbo quite a bit above that.

Spider-man 2 is really reliant on the MMU, so it's super demanding... But I think it should be ok, with those specs.

Spider Man 2 runs good on my Core i5 3570K; just be sure to use the latest dev builds.

There's a PC version of that game. Maybe you should try that first, it would be much less CPU demanding and without problems with MMU emulation.
