Because PadSimple and Njoy plugin were merged to create the GCpad plugin , And I would generally complain about you calling the plugin a piece of shit but I didn't liked it either Tongue

Take a look here ( http://forums.dolphin-emu.org/thread-6318.html ) to donwload the lastest svn version wich has a new pad plugin that work better

Some revs ago the new GCpad plugin was added to the stable branch , shouldn't the RC from the main page be updated ?

Your video explains absolutely nothing at all.
You claim "It won't let me set the buttons right", but you never demonstrate what happens when you attempt it.
You say "It's not supposed to look like this". What does that even mean, "It's not supposed to look like this". You don't show how "it keeps screwing up" or anything.
You don't even say the word nJoy, which I assume is the plugin you are looking for.

You could copy nJoy from your old Plugin directory to the new one.

But, a better solution:
Like the last poster said, try out a newer SVN revision with GCPadNew.
