I had been been using dolphin for a few years on my Galaxy Note 8 with my Gamesir G4 controller. It had been working okayish since the phone lacked the specs to run it in complete smoothness but it did job. Now i recently bought Oneplus 8 pro and installed Dolphin emulator in it too. And now the major issue im currently facing is that i can't seem to map my control stick, right stick and d pad in the gamecube input (emulated), other buttons work just fine and are mapped easily except for the sticks and d pad. I thought it was a controller issue, and retried it on my note 8 but it works just fine in that. Kindly help me get over this hurdle. Hoping to hear from someone soon.

What goes wrong when you try to map them? Do they just not register? Or do they correctly register in the controller setup screen, just not in games? If it's the latter, you should update to 5.0-14203 or later and then remap the controls.

The analog sticks and the d pad don't register any action but the buttons work out just fine. But all of it works fine in my old phone.

Hey,
I have the same issue and I already updated to 5.0-14257.
I heard I need to disable the accessibility features, but that didnt help either.

Interestingly enough I had a similar issue where if I pressed the B button, it would bring the side menu out. I fixed this by mapping the controller settings via the "edit game settings" option, try doing it that way. You can reach it by holding your finger on whatever game.

I gotta second all this. I was playing GameCube perfectly fine a week and a half ago, but as of last weekend I haven't been able to map my joysticks or d-pad. Everything else works fine. Nobody seems to be able to help me with this. :/

EDIT: For clarity, I'm using a Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra, and controller mapping works on all apps except for Dolphin. I've tried reverting versions, uninstalling/reinstalling, and using different controllers. None of the above work. Every button works except for the D-pad and both analog sticks. It also seems to register R2/L2 as "virtual buttons" rather than analog.

I have the same Problem. (Controller gamesir g4s + mi11 ultra)
Sticks/dpad doesnt work in dolphin nor ppsspp. But they work fine in mupen64.
So it must be a problem with dolphin/ppsspp.

One my old xperia xzs with android 8 the dpad +sticks work also. Only on android 11 theyre not working.

Edit: On my xperia (android8) is dolphin version 5.0-13963 installed. Its older than on my mi11u. Maybe someone get these older version and test it on android 11 ?

Edit2: Ok tested the older ver on mi11u with Android. Doesnt work. This is mysterious. Why are dpad/sticks doesnt work on dolphin AND ppsspp ?. on m64 fz they are working.
