Hi there

Long time Dolphin fan here, amazing work you guys have done!

However I'm experiencing an issue at the moment where I can't get old builds to work after installing a newer build.

So I installed an old build first such as 5.0-3418 which worked well then I tried a new build such as 5.0-6946 which again worked fine and still does, however now when I go back to the older builds such as 5.0-3418 I get an error when loading any game "Dolphin emulator has stopped", it then sends me back to the main Dolphin menu or kicks me out of the app entirely!

I factory reset my phone and still the issue persists, even when only trying an old build. Now I'm sure I had this issue before on another phone and resolved it by deleting some Dolphin files within /system/ however on my new phone I have no root access to do this.

Any help much appreciated on how to fix this?

FYI, I'd like to use an older build as I believe they are faster

You shouldn´t need root access. Any file explorer should allow you to do this.
Rig 1: Windows 10 Home | AMD A6-1450 @ 600/1000/1400 MHz | AMD Radeon HD Graphics 8250 | 4GB RAM | HP Pavilion TouchSmart 11.

Rig 2: Windows 10 Pro | Intel Core i7-2640M @ 780/2800/3500 MHz | Intel HD 3000 Mobile | 8GB RAM | Dell Latitude 6320.

Thanks!

I found my issue anyway, I realised I upgraded to Android 8.1 which caused this is with Dolphin, it was fixed from this version: https://dolphin-emu.org/download/dev/aeaca502f0b7b205ed0bac7bf8a7539ebc15008a/?nocr=true

That will be why the later ones work.
