Hi there. This is my first thread so if its incorrect. Sorry. Anyway, whenever I play monster hunter tri using the dolphin emulator, after about 10 seconds after starting the game, the frame rate drops (it basically freezes) to around 22% and it gets lower and lower the longer I leave it. My computer is very new (around 2 months old) so that shouldn't be the problem. There is no error message, it just stops. Help! Sad

Which Intel i5 do you have specifically? For example, mine's an i5-2500K. Also, run RealTemp or CoreTemp while playing Dolphin (while you observe the FPS dropping) and take a screenshot of your temperatures. I don't think you could generate that much heat within 10 seconds to throttle your system, but we need to be sure. If your CPU is too weak for this game, then the FPS drops might not be unexpected. At this point, however, we just need a bit more info from you to make any conclusions.

Its a pc without a tower, one of those screen only type pc's. Maybe that's why it has a laptop processor.

Anyway your CPU is a bit weak for a lot of games (MHT included). However you should get a better performance than the one you've been getting. 25% is really low. What speed do you get with other games?
