Dolphin don't start

Hi !

I was using Dolphin since 4.0, but with the 5.0 rc 19, there is one big problem, it doesn't start.

Here is the error message :

If you used the .deb to install Dolphin, it was meant for Ubuntu and I'm pretty sure it won't work with elementaryOS since they both use different repositories.

What you want to do is compile Dolphin by yourself.

Elementary is based on Ubuntu 14.04 LTS, like Mint or others... why the deb of Dolphin don't use universal deb for most of distributions ?

Because they all have other names for the packages, so it's very hard for the Dolphin devs to keep track of it's dependencies.
