Dolphin Doesn't register Key presses

For some reason I can't play any games. When I start any game up it doesn't recognize any clicks, keyboard or gamepad. It did before I updated to the latest revision.
I'm probably missing something.

Try and give a little more info

- GC, Wii or both?
- Are you able to map controls?

Goto config-->GC and make sure port 1 is set to standard controller
