Dolphin creates new folder on desktop

I moved my Dolphin folder to a different location rather than my desktop and every time I load up Dolphin it creates a new folder on my desktop.
I'm trying to keep my desktop clean so the folder is quite a bother.
Is there a way to have dolphin not make the folder? or is there a reason why it's making it?

Go to Config > Paths. If any of the parts are set to the desktop, change them.
