Dolphin crashing moments after loading ISO

I've only just begun using Dolphin and upon starting the game Super Monkey Ball the program will crash shortly after game play has begun. I can usually get through the menu but as soon as I begin the game, the screen freezes, although the music still plays and nothing responds. I've played with the Backend option in the Graphics menu and with selecting OpenGL actually got the play the game for about 5 minutes before it ultimately crashed. I haven't messed with any other settings. Until it freezes the game runs smoothly usually at 60 FPS and 100% speed. Computer specs:

Operating System:win7 x64
Processor/CPU:AMD Athlon II X2, 3100 Mhz
Video Card/GPU:AMD Radeon HD 7700 Series
Memory/RAM:4GB
Dolphin Revision Currently Using:3.5 x64 official release


I've only tried Super Monkey Ball, is it possible its just the game?

I did another dump of the game and got to play a bit more before it crashed again in the same style. Anyone have any suggestions?

Try to disable Dual Core
