Hello everyone,

I found out about dolphin today and have downloaded it and I am really excited to use it. However whenever I start a game I can usually play for about 15 minutes before I get the 'windows has encountered an error...' message and dolphins forces itself to close. I tested this with two different games and the same thing happened.

My specs: CPU - Intel core i7, GPU - nvidia geforce gt 650m, 16 GB Ram, Windows 8 x86. Also I'm using the new Dolphin 4.0 I got from the official website.

I'll be on later tonight to update additional info you guys may need. I'm in class right now so I can't test anything. I can also provide the full error meassage then.

Additionally, I did have other applications running when it crashed, I toggle in and out of full screen a few times bu but it crashed at a different time.

Have you tried these game images on another platform where they work? I'm wondering if your game images are bad. Have you tested your RAM with memtest? Are you running updated Nvidia drivers?

I'm not sure how to test your first question. For the second one I'm trying to get Memtest to work but it's giving me trouble so I'll get back to you. I am running updated Nvidia drivers.

Also I was able to get about 25 minutes into another game without it crashing.

Check memtest and use CoreTemp to check your temps during gameplay.

You´ll probably want to be more specific with the model... (?)
Rig 1: Windows 10 Home | AMD A6-1450 @ 600/1000/1400 MHz | AMD Radeon HD Graphics 8250 | 4GB RAM | HP Pavilion TouchSmart 11.

Rig 2: Windows 10 Pro | Intel Core i7-2640M @ 780/2800/3500 MHz | Intel HD 3000 Mobile | 8GB RAM | Dell Latitude 6320.
