Ah yes, Dolphin's documents folder! I marked it as hidden to declutter things a bit. I just unhid it and everything loads fine now, thanks! It's strange though, seeing as how my saves and controller mappings and everything loaded just fine.

Brawl today and now when I try to load any wii game I get an error message saying "Setupwiimem: cant create setting file", and then Dolphin crashes. I googled around and found posts on this forum from 2011 and 2012 where people were getting the error message, "Setupwiimem: cant [b]find[b] setting file". Taking suggestions from those threads I ran Dolphin as an admin, reinstalled it, and restarted my computer, and I'm still right where I started. Does anyone know how I can fix this? Thank you!

I had the exact same issue and found that my Anti-Virus was stopping Dolphin from creating new files. Create an exception for Dolphin in your anti-virus and that might help
