My settings:

I've tried all 3 backends so far. Not sure what the problem is. Thanks in advance Smile

ive noticed this has become the go-to response, which is pretty bad. the latest stable should be the go-to release, why dont they just bundle up all these optimizations and improvements into a new stable release?

Set the fullscreen resolution to auto first off, and then switch the video backend to D3D. Also, downlaod and run the DirectX Web updater from here: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=35 to make sure you have the full D3D installed, as sometimes it's not fully installed on computers.

Also in C:\Users\<User>\Documents\Dolphin Emulator delete the Cache folder.

Then check to make sure you don't have any Windows updates pending to install.

The latest stable release was released over a year ago now, with around 5000+ changes/additions/improvements in the dev builds making it way better/faster/more stable.
They aren't going to push another stable release until they can complete all the current milestones as listed here: https://code.google.com/p/dolphin-emu/issues/list?can=2&q=milestone&sort=milestone&colspec=ID%20Type%20Status%20Priority%20Milestone%20Owner%20Summary as there are a few regressions and other things that need to be addressed before it is released. Until then, anyone can use the work in progress dev builds.
