Hello,

First of all, thanks to the community for developpement and support!

Here's my problem: Dolphin crashes as soon as i select the wii tab (to play a wii game). Same for the "folder" tab.

No problem with 5.0-3156, but the few newers versions that i have tested (maybe some versions near -3156 are still ok) have the problem.

Does anybody have this issue? I am playing on Shield TV.

Hello, some news:

I downloaded the last build, cleared data. i added my 2 wii games and was able to play both of them (seems to be a little smoother than before, good)

After that i added my gamecube game list. And then the problem came back (emulator crashes when going to "wii" or "folder" tab). gamecube games are browsable and playable. wii games not anymore.

any idea?

Hello i use a shield Tv Pro and
i have the same problem since the build 5.0-3227 here they added a nice feature with the Banners but sadly it broke all wii games. if i add Gamecube games all is fine but if i add the wii games dolphin crashes every time i start it. Yes I deleted all data but no luck only gamecube games work with the latest builds...other problems with Nougat and Vulkan and crashes are gone...but wii games are not possible at the moment. Dont know why.

Thanks for pinpointing the exact version that broke it. It really helps us with solving the problem. We'll see if we get a proper fix for this soon, otherwise I'll likely revert the change in 5.0-3227 so that we'll have neither banners nor crashes.

I can't reproduce this crash on my Shield Pro 2017, can you share with me the name of the 2 wii games you tried to add? which version of the Shield you have?

hello i use the Shield TV Pro 2015 Model and after some deeper research i found out that wii games can run....but only in ogls or you have some savestates... then Vulkan work sometimes. Vulkan is verry unstable since Nvidia Nougat update....but if Vulkan work you can expect more fps and sound stuttering is also a littlebit better. By the way Vulkan and Gamecube games work like a charm and every time i use it. Great!

The problem is.. wii games crash after you add them. i found something out...if you add gamecube games all is fine and will work normal. If you then add wii games dolphin will always crash by opening. Now i copied some wii games in my gamecube directory and voila wii games work....so i think it has to do with the seperate folders or there are to much games. i dont know but what i know for sure is you cant add wii games in an seperate folder from your gamecube games... if so dolphin will crash.

I solved this Problem by using ARC Browser so you dont have to add games in dolphin and it will not crash...it is an frontend for Emulators and work great with Android TV...very nice and customizable...

Thanks for sharing this, since I used an external folder to put all my games in one folder, I will try your way and see if I can reproduce it on my device.
