It happens on 3.0 and every revision I've tried. Even if I start the program and do nothing except attempt to exit, it crashes. This happened to me once before on my main PC, but it doesn't anymore. On the laptop however it does. What could be the cause? It's really annoying because I can't save my settings

No it happens with default settings... Like I can download a new revision, open it, and even if I immediately close it I get a crash and have to terminate the program

The problem persists nearly half a year later on a completely different laptop with new graphics card, drivers, everything. I've tried 3 different revisions (6xxx, 7xxx, and a recent one). Where's the support??

Edit: I think I found a fix, the x86 version of the recent build seems to work fine. Not sure about the others yet, hopefully no issues. Why does the x64 version crash though? I'm on 64 bit Windows

First of all, no one has to support anything. Secondly, most people who have a clue about what they're doing have never had this issue. Lastly, if a developer can't reproduce the issue, then obviously they can't support it and obviously can't fix it. It's just not an issue.
