Hi all,

I downloaded Dolphin a couple of days ago to play Pokemon XD Gale of Darkness. Every 10 - 15 mins the emulator either crashes (forgot to screen cap the errors) or my game just randomly freezes. Currently I am using Dolphin 4.0-1461 (latest version). I've been messing around with my setting and there doesn't seem to be any sort of improvement.

Could it be my PC spec? Windows 8.1 x64, Intel i3 540 @ 3.07GHz, Nvidia Geforce GT 320, 4GB RAM

I recognise my PC is out of date at the moment, should be upgrading soon.

Does anyone have any suggestions for me?

Thanks in advance guys.

Did you check the dump to make sure it isn´t corrupted?

If by that you mean the dump folder, then yes I did, its empty.

Also it couldn't be because of corruption, as I have tried reinstalling it as well, still no benefit.

Thanks for your suggestion anyway though.

I mean the ISO (checking the MD5 checksum of the game).

I think you should tell what game you are trying to play. My Dolphin also crashes every 10 minutes but that's just because I play Mario Mods on Dolphin (Mario Kart custom tracks and Newer Super Mario Bros. Wii), Dolphin does not seem to like it. Sometimes I get crashes after 20 seconds, sometimes after 30 minutes; just random crashes.
Back to the point: it could be your game iso that is causing those crashes. I don't know for sure if that's what DJBarry was trying to say, I don't know anything about NAND dumps or MD5 checksum; never heard of these terms. (No need to explain it, I even don't wanna know if it's not necessary)

So, I tried a different Pokemon XD Gale of Darkness ISO to try and rule out corruption.

After about 20 - 25 mins of play time I got all of these errors at the same time.

I will go ahead & disable Dual core now to see if this resolves my issue, I will update you shortly.

If anyone else has any other suggestions please let me know.

You checked this "I'd rather not be banned, so I won't talk about downloading games" and you post "So, I downloaded another Pokemon XD Gale of Darkness ISO to try and rule out corruption".

To be fair, I've seen FIFO Errors more and more often lately. Even though OP pirated it I think maybe someone should check out if this happens to anyone else. Still, banhammer needs to be used because of what you checked when registering.
