Dolphin crashes every time i start a game

I am using dolphin on linux. I try to play SMG2 but as soon as i open the game it crashes immediately. I get an error Cannot convert charset "Windows Japanese CP 932". Anybody know what this may be?

The game aint compatible with the current version of dolphin?
Have u tried more then one game?

Sounds like a startuperror when it needs more coding.
Ask in request forums or something

i not 100% but i would say coz it a japanese iso maybe it wont convert to english not sure but it could be try downloading a diffrent iso english one lol

i not 100% but i would say coz it a japanese iso maybe it wont convert to english not sure but it could be try downloading a diffrent iso english one lol

nope it is an ntsc (north america) iso

the only other game i tried is the Punch Out virtual console game and it crashes also at startup....

re-download dolphin and make sure you have 2.0 (latest version) because the makers of dolphin get better every new version (cause they awesome) and if that doesn't work then its probably your computer.

Or maybe if you buy the game and make a legal copy it will work...

Or maybe if you buy the game and make a legal copy it will work...

I'm thinking its a problem with the emulator...not the game.

I'm getting the Cannot convert charset "Windows Japanese CP 932" too error too. All my game are North American NTSC. I'm currently using the latest SSE4.1(64bit) build found here

Exactly this happens to me every time I open a new game then crashes Dolpin.
