Glad I'm using Haswell, then.
OS: Windows 10 64 bit Professional
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5900X RAM: 16GB GPU: Radeon Vega 56
@Corpse - Dunno if you're being serious (in which case you're trolling) or if you're just poking fun (in which case you're being off-topic). If it's the former please refrain from posting things like that. Current Intel CPUs simply perform very well with Dolphin compared to current AMD CPUs; we have data backing this up, and speed is the major concern for most of us, which is why models like the i5-4670K are favored and recommended here. If it's the latter, post things like that in Delfino Plaza.
Yea ok ya japanophile pony loving f@ggot, lets see ur kawaii gentoo desktop

He posted an anti-Intel image like : AMD make more core , Intel fake more core , lawsuit , Support AMD Support our freedom , AMD could save us ....It's really funny . I liked it

I've been unable to use Dolphin on my AMD Athlon II X64 (connected to the TV, only getting 8-10fps) so I tried it on my i7 (not overclocked) as it's in the top processors on this thread, however I'm getting speeds of around 10-12fps, no matter what settings I change.
I have a crappy Radeon 3450, but it's not mentioned that a good CPU needs to have a good GPU too, I would have thought my CPU would have handled it all, is that not the case? Luckily, a colleague has a GeForce 8800 GT laying around at home doing nothing which he's going to give me so I'm going to see if that improves things. |
