Just to make sure, you're not trying to run Dolphin from within a zip file, right?

Hello, am his friend but his real problem is that error he showed you. I gave him Microsoft Visual C++ still nothing. I've also gave him the old 4.0 version of Dolphin that worked. He using a Windows 7, is it possible there a way to fix that issue he haves? I've looked everywhere and I can't find anything.

His profile says he's using an x86 copy of Windows--is this true? If so, he can't run Dolphin revisions after a certain version because support was dropped for x86 because it's awful. But I'm pretty sure upgrading to x64 is free.

Oh, and by the way I gave him an older version of Dolphin and it's x64 and it runs just fine. But pretty laggy though, but still how can I tell if he x64?
Btw here the old dolphin version I gave him. < REMOVED >
It's the 4.0 version.

Argh, don't use that website, it's very outdated and it's also stealing ad revenue from official developers. Download the latest development version in the official website and it'll hopefully improve the performance: https://dolphin-emu.org/download/
