Another noob question : is it even possible to load original DVDs and will there be risks of freeze too?

If you have that rare LG drive, I believe.

friidump can get games off many dvd drives. just very slowly.

About $5-$10 plus shipping.

They aren't that rare, just old (my drive shows it's made in 2004)
