So I am using a gaming laptop to use Dolphin and recently have been attempting to play games only to find them running super slowly. I suspect this is due to the fact that Dolphin changes the graphics card it uses once I launch a game. When I open Dolphin, it says it is using my Nvidia GeForce GTX 870M card. But once a game is launched it changes to the Intel card. I have Dolphin added in the Nvidia control panel telling it to use the Nvidia card but apparently it isn't working. Is there any way to fix this?
Dolphin cahnges from Nvidia card to Intel card upon launching game

Ignore the bug in Dolphin - Graphic Settings . Dolphin should use Nvidia GPU by default even if you only see Intel GPU listed there . Though I'm pretty sure that bug was fixed long ago
Anyway , download and run Nvidia Inspector along side with Dolphin . If GPU Load = 0% -> Dolphin does not use Nvidia GPU Laptop: Mini PC :: 08-13-2016, 03:08 PM
Or when you run a game look at the yellow text to see what driver was loaded.
