If people continue to like these builds it might get stickied eventually though by a mod. Anyway back on the topic, new builds are up: r6888x32 r6888x64
Why is in your latest build open cl deactivated? Doesn't bring it more performance if I activate it?
"Emulate format changes" is off by default << Can I switch that on, it doesn't affect my performace(ATI), doesn't it? Cheers injected

Open cl is just for the texture decoding, something that is handled faster by the recent SSE2 work in texture decoding that all builds use. So currently there isn't much point of using open cl. 2nd) You can switch it on but especially in Mario Kart games it will affect your performance. Although Ati cards seem to not have the static issues that nvidia cards have in high resolutions with high efb scale with this option on, performance will probably take a hit in those games. To sum things up though, these are suggested default settings if you don't know about dolphin and it's settings, that doesn't mean there is any rule that you shouldn't change them no matter what. Edit - New builds are up: r6894x32 r6894x64 |
