Surprised you aren't using VS2011 CP. MS has added auto-vectorizing and auto-parallelizing so it might be almost as fast as ICC.

People here have no problem using beta/not production ready/whatever term you want to use for not official version Git builds using a stable compiler. Does using a beta compiler suddenly make them scary?
