Ok I understand what dirty means now, thanks.
I'd still like to know which revision Wintermute recommends though. 601 or 629. 05-05-2012, 02:20 AM

It means that the source code has been modified, or that it has been compiled with MaMario's dodgy buildbot, which should give the cleanest builds in existence, as those builds end up on the main download page,
Edit: type-posted again. I need to speed up.

Quick question off topic for anyone that might know.
I'm buying a new Macbook Pro 17" later this week. It's a 2.5 quad-core / 7200RPM Hard drive GPU Radeon AMD HD 6770M / Intel 3000 Does Dolphin utilize quad-core systems the full potential yet? I've researched it, and all I find are year old posts about Dolphin not fully utilizing quad-core power. Do the new revisions address quad-core now? I'm hoping to be able to run Dolphin for Wii and Gamecube game at least almost full speed now. That or I'll finally boot-camp the new computer and put Windows 7 in. Thoughts or recommendations? Thanks~ 05-08-2012, 09:00 PM
Dolphin only uses 2 cores (3 with LLE on thread). But the 2.5GHz i7 is enough for Dolphin, most games should run well.
