Ok, version 3972 is the last version that runs Twilight Princess for me correctly, and it runs it pretty well. However in later versions, the graphics are massively messed up - 3D things are just completely broken and it keeps switching rapidly between normal and 256 colours; and the frame skipper makes the screen black for all the frames it's skipping. The right sound channel also doesn't work. All of these things are fine in 3972 (except the sound's been like that since 3661). This is also the case with wind waker but not so much so.

Please help!Sad

Extra note about the audio: I think this is a coding issue, and it starts happening between revisions 3742 and 3757.
I nominate r3747 - DSPHLE: Zelda ucode: Better volume handling for volume mode 1. Fixes most (not all) volume and stereo issues as being the problem

Well that fixed the 3d rendering thing Smile but it's still doing the flashing thing.

The settings i'm using are :

In config - Enable Dual Core, Enable Idle Skipping, HLE and JPL, JIT Recompiler, Optimize Quantizers, DSP on Thread
In Gfx (OpenGL plugin) - Vsync, Use Real XFB, Anisotropic filter 1x, Copy EFB to GL texture

The flashing thing seems to be a known issue in D3D9 plugin :

Try disabling frame skipping, it may make the game slower but at least it will be playable. Or try OpenGL plugin.

The frame skipping flashing thing is a problem but it flashes when frame skipping is off, in a different way:

I've noticed this too with a lot of my games in the newest builds. Good old r4460 does the job well.

I find in recent revisions that if I run TP with Copy EFB to RAM it runs well and the map/minimap work as well with either OpenGL or D3D
