I got a MayFlash dolphin bar, I think I have the Rev 2, and it connects to my Wiimotes (they are ttx tech, but they show up as Nintendo with Bluetooth) and when I have it in modes 1-3 it works fine as an input device, but when I set it to 4 to connect to dolphin, it lags a lot. I tried a few games and they all have about 30seconds or more of lag, for example when pressing A+B to get into Wii sports it takes 30 seconds to get to the game selection, if I sting the buttons together they will all come in late, but there is no extra delay between multiple button presses.

I'm also wondering if I can just make a simulated Wiimote using mode 1,2 or 3, but I'm worried that it won't let me have 2 Wiimotes then.

Try the basic stuff first. Disconnect the Dolphin Bar and plug it back in. Turn the remote off and on again, maybe remove the batteries too.

I did try all that, I also noticed that the pointer doesn't show up in the Wii games, but it goes move my mouse when it's set on 1-3.
