Dolphin Bar and Windows 10

I recently purchased the Mayflash Dolphin Bar to use with my Nvidia Shield TV, but it wouldn't recognize it at all, so I connected it to my PC and Windows recognizes it, the drivers and firmware are up to date, but I can't do anything in Dolphin. I'm not sure what model my Wiimote is, I think it may be one of the original ones. All I can say is that it's black, doesn't say "Wii Motion+" or anything and says "M1-2" under the battery door. In Mode 1 I can control the mouse cursor, but it's choppy. When I put it on Mode 4 and select "real Wiimote" in the Dolphin settings and choose constant scanning the Wiimote rumbles occasionally so it's obviously connected, but when I try to press any buttons to start a game, nothing happens.

Operating System: Windows
Processor/CPU: Core i5 6600K
Video Card/GPU: Nvidia GTX 780
Memory/RAM: 1x8GB DDR4 Kingston
Dolphin Revision Currently Using: 5.0 x64

Is it a third party Wiimote or an official Wiimote? Third-party Wiimotes often don't work with Windows.

I've been testing it out with New Super Mario Brothers, and I'm not sure if it's official or not, I guess it's a knockoff since it doesn't say anything on it.

It looks like this: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NEW-BLACK-REMOTE-CONTROLLER-FOR-NINTENDO-WII-U-SILICON-STRAP-UK-SELLER-/190870688679

I bought a black Wii off of ebay about a year or so ago and those are the controllers that it came with.

It is a third-party Wiimote. There are some clues that indicate it, such as "Wii" not being present on the Wiimote itself, and the word "official" never mentioned in the description.

Does it work on a Wii? If it does, you may have more luck getting it working with Dolphin on Linux.

I've had no issues with my official Wiimotes and my Dolphinbar, but a couple friends I introduced Dolphin to decided to go cheap and get knockoff controllers--- and none of them work.

Yeah, that's the risk with third-party Wiimotes. Either they are just broken and don't even work with a real Wii, or they do work with a Wii, but with Dolphin it only works on Linux. (And this is imo partly Windows's fault for not allowing to do a Bluetooth discovery using LIAC, which is what the Wii does)

Yep, they both work fine with the Wii. I'll see if my Arch Linux VMware guest will work properly passing through the DolphinBar, otherwise I'll boot up an Ubuntu Live image and give it a try natively. I just listed the Wii and it's controllers on Ebay since I never use them and would much rather use Dolphin on my PC since it's far less of a PITA then using the hacked Wii. I'll probably end up just buying the official Wii Motion+ controllers to use with it.

I was hoping to find a solution here as I've exhausted all other forums.
I too have this frustrating issue with the Dolphinbar and Windows 10 on Dolphin 5.0.
4 authentic Wiimotes. Works sometimes, but ALWAYS drops connection during game(NSMB).
I've tried all the suggestions I've seen posted... uncheck sound, exit Dolphin then connect Wiimotes to DB, stand on your head and bark like a cow. To no freakin avail. This seems like an issue between Dolphin and the DB dropping communication with each other.

I see where you screwed up: you're supposed to bark like a chicken, not a cow hahaha

Hopefully this gets resolved soon because I'd really like to add GameCube and Wii to my self built Steam Machine.
