I am just wanting to know if the MayFlash Dolphin Bar would work on Dolphin 5.0 and on Legend of Zelda skyward sword?

For the most part it works well. I find that using the bug net in the game has difficult tracking, making catching bugs a pain. Making slow movements when using the bug net improves things.
I'm hoping the DolphinBar gets the Bluetooth passthrough update/capability in the future to improve this.

What is the max working range for the Mayflash Bar's infared light? My wiimote's buttons that use bluetooth can work at 20 feet, but I need to get within 2 feet (24 inches) of the Mayflash BAR for my Wiimote's infared sensors to pick up the infared from the bar.

I sit about 7 feet away from my TV and my dolphin bar works fine from that distance.
