1) There doesn't seem to be a general feedback thread in https://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Forum-dolphin-emu-org-articles or if there is, it should probably be pinned.

2) Could you include a link to the Youtube videos underneath each video in the articles? Use a super small font if you want. In some cases the embedded videos simply don't appear (Such as when viewing the page with Firefox 36 beta).

1) There is a general feedback thread for the Progress Report blog series. Other one-off articles typically get their own threads. For example the 60 FPS hacks thread is here.

2) There is something going wrong if the videos aren't loading. That's a browser issue more than an issue with the article itself.

These are the links if you want them:

I'm guessing its about YT switching to HTML5, and Fx 36 beta probably triggering it. Might be a problem on our end (with the embedding code), but might aswell be on the other end (either yours or youtube).

Well some websites do mention this
Quote:Now that HTML5 video is the default on YouTube, Google is deprecating its old-style <object> Flash embeds and its Flash API. YouTube recommends you only use its <iframe> embeds to embed videos going forward because that allows it to use whatever technology your visitors’ browsers support.

In any case, it would still be cool to have links to the videos in the off-chance that a video simply doesn't load for a user, perhaps position the links behind the videos, that way it is only visible if the video fails to load.

All of the videos on the blog are iframe elements (baring gyfcat repeating elements, but those aren't exactly videos!). An iframe is literally a mini webpage within the blog, so anything you see or don't see within the iframe is between you and youtube.

kk, I wasn't really aware of how aware everyone was in regards to Youtube's shift away from <object> to <iframe> as I really don't pay attention at all to that kind of stuff >.> it seems most people are aware of this though.

You already need an HTML 5-era browser to view the progress reports anyway, as the charts are all SVG images, rather than something like PNG that works in any browser. If you have a computer capable of running Dolphin in the first place (considering the x64 requirement), you should probably be able to get your hands on a new browser. Wink
