I notice this emulator is new, I see no guide to setup the xbox 360 controller anywhere.

Does anyone know how dolphin works to be able to explain in steps how to get 360 controller working.

Thanks!

Start dolphin. Click gamecube pad (gcpad) set device to xinput (it will have some more after that to identify which player it is etc) click each input and hit the corresponding part of the pad. My setup is in the first attachment.

Do the same for wiimote. This is more complex as it will vary from game to game, but you can also set the extension to classic and do exactly what you did for the gamecube pad settings.

Thank you, I read this online.

How do I use this in the wii game? I start the emulated and disabled all wiimotes and for example, animal crossing city folk, it says hit the a button. I hit the a button or any button and it wont detect my controller. I did do the GC setup as you requested but it doesnt seem to work in wii game. Maybe I need to check something?

You need to have one emulated wiimote for wiimote-only games. Then you have to guess what you want, for example a shooter would tie B to the right trigger and the ir to the right stick, but other games might want b as b. you'll need to work out which configuration works best for each game.

I think that it would probably be best to do this yourself, as many different games would work best with their own profile. I only use my XBox pad for the GameCube and classic controller, as, at least in theory, I use a Wiimote for the rest. In actual fact I use a keyboard and mouse unless I need analogue input as I'm having difficulty getting a bluetooth stick which works.
