hi guys!

tried your advices but nothing helped.... i dont have the possibility to change the hyperthreading.... and the dev. builds make the video quality worse....

so i tried to install the dolphin on my hdd (before it was on the ssd) and it worked! seems dolphin does not like it if i use several devices :-)

so im fine and can play my games again... without laggs!

thanks anyway!

overheat? never thought about that .... so i will try to find out, what temperature i got when i play.... is there a difference if i play in window mode or full screen? so i would open a tool at the same time and look then...

what temperature would be good - what would be too hot???

hey its me again.... sorry had a busy time....

i checked with the tool coretemp the temperature.

sometimes it goes up to 85 degrees, but most of the time 60-80 degrees...

do you think that is too much?

i sometimes recognized a lagg when i reached the 85 degrees, but only sometimes and there was only a little lagg, not the 2-3 sec lagg i used to have :/

That seems reasonable, since it's a laptop.

do the "i" series CPUs and chipsets still park cores?

http://forum.notebookreview.com/windows-os-software/486478-fix-win7-i7-sluggish-performance.html

also sometimes hyperthreading hurts performance on some applications and games.

the newer dev builds may look worse if it wipes out your gfx settings and defaults to standard definition.
