ok, I had some troubles yesterday and pulled out most of my hair Smile after reading several threads it seems to me that the problems and 'what it takes to get it working' is a little bit different for everyone. I still have to go through quite a bit of fiddling to get it to work... but it seems after all the messing about it eventually starts working.

What I'm wondering is, does it work and connect for anyone perfectly, the first time? Meaning you just turn it on and load Dolphin and it works?

If it does, did you have any problems originally, and what did you do to overcome them?

For me it's installing the device driver each time I turn on the Wiimote... I pair up again, then hit refresh... sometimes it says it it's connected in Dolphin but doesn't work, so I start all over again with the same process until it does. If I could get around this I'd be really happy Smile

Even if you have no definitive answers, I'd love to hear how it goes for others, maybe I might figure something out from hearing what's going on for everyone else.

many thanks!

Well, it was some trial and error before I was able to run Dolphin...

DL'ed it, Extracted it, Run => FAIL, VCOMP100.DLL Error.
Installed Microsoft Visual C++ 2010, Run => FAIL, Shader Errors and whatnot.
Updated DirectX, Updated my Videocard drivers, Run => SUCCESS

Then I decided I wanted a Wiimote to connect... Which was pretty easy. Once I learned that Blue Soleil Can't explore services when searching for other devices, that is... Note that My Wiimote is connected as a "Bluetooth HID". Even got GlovePIE for playing the Windwaker with a Wiimote and Nunchuck (and some custom Wii controls), and my Speedlink gamepad has about as much buttons as a standard Gamecube Controller, so I'm happily playing along!

I've been having huge problems with dolphin and my Wii mote. I have not once got it to work properly and I like you was going krazy trying to figure out why its not working properly in dolphin. I've gotten the wii mote to work with Glovepie and confirmed that all the buttons do indeed work fine. But in dolphin the buttons do not work at all. Dolphin will connect to my wii mote and make it vibrate, and even on the screen it will say Wii mote Connected. But when the game loads I'm not able to press any buttons.

Yep. That's one thing I totally agree with Smile don't want this to sound like I'm complaining.... I've very impressed Smile just trying to figure things out.
