Dolphin and PS3 controller

I am sorry if this is a silly question, but can you use a PS3 controller with Dolphin, I am looking to use the controller wirelessly to be able to play GC games on my laptop on 14 hour flights . Thanks

I think this should work, first:
Connect the controller to the pc via bluetooth
go into game pad settings in dolphin and assign the buttons!
it works with my Xbox 360 Controller.

no, ive done this myself, you need special drivers. google for "motioninjoy" it takes a little configuring to get running but it has rumble and acelerometer controls. You can use it via the micro usb cord that comes with your ps3 or you can use bluetooth if you have an adapter. the only problem ive had using this is that the triggers ghost out in mkw if you press 3 buttons i think. but i have yet to confirm this...
