Dolphin and my controllers

Hello, I’m new here, and I hope that I’m posting in the right place. For some reason, Dolphin just refuses to work with any of my controllers.

If one is already plugged in, the program refuses to open, and it stops working if I plug in a controller after I’ve opened it.

The controllers and usb ports work otherwise, so I’m very confused about what to do.

If there’s any advice anyone could give, I’d deeply appreciate it.

If you have Steam open, try closing it.

Considering that I don't even have Steam on my computer in the first place, I'm a bit doubtful that my issue relates to Steam in any way.

I've seen this before. My friend had installed an old driver(DirectX 7) for its USB gamepad, it worked just fine with windows 7 and 8 but he's now using windows 10 and some emulators refuse to launch if the old gamepad driver is installed. So I have uninstalled it and almost everything is working normally, everything but rumble/forcefeedback.

Hi, I don't know if this will be useful in your case, but I think that the problem its SDL input actualizations, you see I installed a few emulators in my pc dolphin included, and it worked fine, then it actualized and controller has working problems, it happened with PCSX2 too, and I found that if you turn off SDL Input that solve the problem, but since dolphin has no a way to turn off SDL input the only solution that worked for me was install an older version that has no that problem which in my case is 5.0-17269.
