So I got Dolphin a month ago. The stable version, 5.0, is currently fraught with issues, so the next day I got the development version that was the most recent and it worked. I got right to playing Super Paper Mario. As you might know, Super Paper Mario involves some IR control. Since I wished to not buy a bluetooth dongle so I could actually use the Wiimote, I just mapped out the up, down, left, and right controls for IR with the arrow keys. That worked.
Until now.
Waking up today to another happy day of SPM and suddenly, the IR didn't work. Controller config (Hybrid) showed that, yes, the IR was responsive, but it didn't reflect in-game. I looked it up on Google a million times and sometimes, it took me here. None of the fixes that were mentioned on this forum helped (made it worse), so I'm stuck with an unplayable game.
I've already tried clearing and resetting the default IR controls, and installing the most recent developer dolphin. None of it helped. Keep in mind it was working until today. Anybody know why this happens?
Also, this is my first post, and I am new. Notify me if I screwed up somehow.

I'm no expert at Dolphin, but at least I try!
