So how do you use these WiiRD codes with dolphin exactly?
Dolphin Action Replay
|
1. You find the code
2. You find gcncrypt.exe in User/GameConfig folder 3. You convert cheats 4. You run Dolphin 5. You right click on game -> Properties -> Edit Config 6. You put converted cheats under [ActionReplay] sign like this Code: $name of the code Where "00XX00XX XX00XX00" is converted cheat code. 7. You right click on game -> Properties -> AR Codes and enable code you typed Hope this helps 05-21-2009, 04:35 AM

Are those instructions for Wii codes? Cause it sounds like the instructions for decrypting GCN codes now I look at it closer

If its already in "00XX00XX XX00XX00" format does it need to be encrypted as opposed to decrypted?

Grrr they don't work for Fire Emblem Booooo!

This doesn't want to work for Brawl.
I'm trying to use an 'Alloys Don't Freeze' code, along with codes to play as the Alloys, and the input gets changed in the Properties. Anytime there's changes to the codes I input, it goes to '7FFFFFFFFF', for example: 4A000000 9018F140 10000098 0000002E E0000000 80008000 (Player 1 plays as Red Alloy) changes to: 4A000000 7FFFFFFF 10000098 0000002E 7FFFFFFF 7FFFFFFF If you want to see the source, look here. Clearly, if r3089 wants to change my input, the codes aren't going to work, so what can I do about it? These codes are of interest to me because of their effect on the results screen, demonstrated here (look at 2:50). Edit: it appears that the "Alloys Don't Crash" code (found on SmashBoards) runs a check on a certain condition, and if it's true, inserts some custom ASM code that keeps the alloys from freezing the game. Because the custom ASM is in both halves of the 'standard code' format, Dolphin's error-checking thinks the AR codes you're trying to use are invalid. I think this explains why I see my input changing. Anyway, this link shows the listing of code types USB Gecko/Ocarina uses. Hopefully this will help get better code support for Wii games. 05-27-2009, 12:59 AM
I have exactly the same problem. Certain coeds get changed to XFFFFFFFF when you press ok and they then don't work. Is there any way to fix this?
